I turned 60 January 20th. and heard Art the first time on May 30, 1994 driving thru the Nevada desert late night coming from Michigan to Berkeley, Ca. where I lived for 12 years. I couldn't beleive it the first time I heard him, thought I died and went to heaven. Life long interest in many of his subjects, UFO's, paranormal etc.

Boy, I feel like a little kid. I'm just 20.
My dad told me about C2C a while ago, but I didn't start listening until december 2002 (DOH!). One of the very first shows I heard was the rebroadcast 2002 interview of Mel Waters (the one where he talks about the SECOND bottomless hole). Needless to say, after that show I was hooked.
It's just sad that about 2 weeks after I started listening Art had to retire .

Beyond History
Yes LivingLegend, Art is a legend in his own time and this legend is 'verified' by people like you.
Art's talent extends beyond history - it exists into the future where once again we accommodate him. The journey continues...and I'm still in the crows nest!
Welcome aboard the Fantastic LivingLegend!

Got the bug in '91 ( music mostly $ucked that decade, tho not quite as bad a disco) for A.B. and still hanging on a hope and a prayer.

I first heard about Art Bell on one of the shuttle/nasa/space flight newsgroups. Someone mentioned a nut on Art Bell's program - this was during the Heaven's Gate tragedy and the comet. I did a search, found his site and listened to some of the archived shows (remember when they were readily available??). I was hooked from then on. It seems like such a long time ago, but such an exciting door was opened for me and life hasn't been the same since - I've learned so much about things I used to only dream about learning.
Thanks Art - you did this for me.

I think I might be the youngest one here. I'm 17 and live in Washington State. My Dad introduced me to Art Bell a couple years back and I too have been hooked ever since(well I don't know about snoory )anyhow, he has been a trucker for a long time and used to listen to him on those long trips. BTW this is my first post here so hi to everyone!

I first heard Art on my way back from a business trip from Fresno and the subject was the Manhattan Project and I would say this is about 25 years ago which would make me then about 41.
That show made the long drive so enjoyable and from then on I have been an Art Bell fan.

Seems to me I started listening to Art in late 1992 maybe 1991? I remember him saying he didn't know what was going go to happen, but here we go............and the rest is history. I think I was around 45/46. Oh ya! The good ol'e days! I am a boomer by the way.

I went back to page #1 and it was so good to see all the names of folks from the past. I signed up in 2003 but had a different name then.
My brother told me about Art in 1999. But living in a place that's too far away to get radio other than CBC, I couldn't get him. Then I got satellite TV and it provided me with radio stns and I was able to get Art from a station out of Winnipeg. One night he mentioned the FF and so I found this place too.
