Started listening to Art via the internet at work back around 1996. I used to listen to the "Paranet" paranormal radio show, and after doing some searching I found Art. This was when the realaudio player ver 1.0 was just out! I too was totally into the fact that here was a show about (????) WHATEVER!! Hooked ever since. I totally miss the old streaming video days. Art would hold up a tee shirt or something. Run off to pee between "sets". Light up mega ciggies between talks. Pro, all the way.

If it seems weird to you, think what it looks like to normal people.

You hit me in the heart with that! I'm slightly on the west side of Art, and am really delighted to find so many traveling companions in this life ride.
I personally would not relish being young right now, especially seeing the state the world is in....and I wonder how much responsibilty we have for what is happening to our culture and ideals. I mean, I wonder why we can't sustain those lofty aspirations as the fabric of our culture?
May you all stay "Forever Young"

thanks for the tip Ginger. I was always curious if Art ever included any Dylan in his bumper music......I never heard any in the last couple of years. If not, it seems a strange omission. (p.s., forgive the misspelling of your name in my original post spaceprophet, it was a slip.

Although I'm not a boomer, I'm at least that old in maturity and intelligence (IQ=186). This pirate was born at 5:35am, August 2, 1975 in Bay City, Michigan.
I really dig Ginger's idea of all of us getting a cruise together...I miss the sea! I still have a pretty good pair of sea legs.
If anyone is serious about a cruise, let's get something rolling...er floating
Mark ~ 27
...that may be younger than anyone here except for 'ani_yun_wi_ya'...thanks for having me!

Well Mark, If we are going to go by maturity and intelligence, you'll probably win out over many of us, especially me.
I don't think the other boomers here would mind if I bestow upon you our highest honor...
the title of 'Honorary Boomer'.
Here is your Captain Midnight decoder ring for official communications, Mickey Mouse Club ears for identification, Red Rider BB gun for self-defense, and your hoola hoop for...well, 'hoola hooping'. Go and make us proud.
