Mel Waters

Can anyone tell me the year, month, and day of the first Mel Waters interview? Im pretty sure that it was 1997, but unsure of the month and day.

I just added this complete show to my archive, and need the date for continuity .....

Was the first date the original, and the second date a repeat? Or were there two different shows this close together?

Maybe the first date was a short interview, and then Art had him back for a full show a few days later?

Mel Waters was on Coast:

02/21/97
02/24/97
01/29/02
12/20/02

That's 4 parts to the saga, no repeats.

Coincidentally, I just happened to listen to this recently. It is a textbook example of how Art could interview someone with some preposterous story and make it interesting, entertaining, and captivating, without coming across like an idiot or patronizing bullsh*tter.

Yes, Id really like to have the 02/21/97 show. What was it, about a 1 hour segment with Mel on that show?, or just a few minutes, or what?

I am a huge Mel Waters fan and have listened to all his interviews. If anyone is interested I have the 2 sets of Art Bell shows. If anyone wants to email Mel Waters, here is his email address: [email protected] (I sent him an email today, asking how he's doing.) Also, there is a Mel Waters fan web site. It is: www.melshole.com

Any other Mel Waters fans out there?
