Name Art's Next Show!
Art always solicits suggestions for names when he starts a new venture. Listeners helped him pick names for his first two books, "Dreamland," and it's precursor, "Area 2000," and even a couple of his cats, plus his dog.
So, I'm sure if he's doing what we all think he's doing, he'd enjoy reading our suggestions for a name for his next show.
My suggestion is that he call it "The Fantastic Forum," or "The Fantastic Radio Forum," but I'm sure some of you could think of something better.
Let's hear it!

'The Art Bell Show' - without a doubt. However - the FF Pirate Ship WWW Fantastic is always ready to sail with him for adventure upon the cyberseas, and could always open up a 'Art Bell Galley' to host an interactivity with the show. All we would need is a T3 connectivity to the Mae West backbone. Ha ha!
Linnea, I aggree with YOU! The show's name would be self explanatory. Heck, even now, anybody I have ever talked to about the show has always referred to it as "ART BELL" not Coast to Coast...
Except THIS time, it will be Art Bell and nothin' but Art Bell.
(Except for maybe Whitley, Linda, Brad, Ed, you get the idea...)

Come to think of it, I wonder how that plays out with Linda... I know she's toeing the line right now, with being on Whit's show, and supposedly will be doing drop ins on C2C. Premrad hasn't slammed her yet for being conflict of interest, or being a traitor or anything like that... YET?
Here's another one... maybe once Art gets his show up, and he's out of the grip of premrad, maybe he'll have PETER DAVENPORT on once in a while... I never knew the whole story on that fallout, but it happened while Seagull thought HE was running things....
Ah, the possibilities....

I am sure Art and Whitley will bring Dreamland back to the air waves! Do you think the 'good guys' can really win one from the goliath! If anyone can do it - it's Art Bell. Radio is the love of his life, and he would pitch a no-holds-barred battle for freedom of the air waves, and his personal freedom to do his show as he wants to do it.

I don't think Art would ever call his show "The Art Bell Show," because he'd be the first to tell you the show isn't supposed to be about him. Art's talent lies in being the best moderator, interviewer, and bringing out the best in guests and callers. But, the show is always about the subject matter...not personalities.

Ian sounded very nice during his interview with Spike and myself, he called it' Fantastic Forum Radio'.
I like that name, it does promote HIVE mindedness as well as allow the listeners to be an active part of the show.
I see Art as a leader/light whom shall guide the masses through the night.
Fantastic Forum Radio, Live with Art Bell!

And one more thing; famous last words....
Doing that show with Ian was absolutely easy, because he's easy to talk to: both laidback and vibrant in the same momant. Like talking to an old friend you've met for the first time.
And who took off on a 2O-minute tangent, with Ian, about football?! (that would be R/C!)<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">"I'm just going to sit back and let you do all the talking with Ian during the interview."- Cap'n Code, to me, 3O minutes before the interview</font>
