The 'Nazca' Civilization of Peru? Done in by a tree? Having trouble following this stuff. Do not have a 'noory' brain mode, I guess.

They chopped down all the trees and El nino caused a massive flood in 500 A.D.

Okay. Thanks for the info. Is that the 'Nazca'?

Men in Black. They are here to keep people from information.
Noory- 'Do they scare people?'

Hiding information about military secrets and corporate secrets. Well - that's believable. But how do the aliens fit in to this? Underground military bases. Guest John Rhodes does not sound too convincing - yet.

Okay. Noory's bumper music: one of my favorite songs - Everybody's Talking At Me - Nilsson

Snip from the news:

The 1998 El Niño flooded the modern city of Ica to a depth of two metres, and a computer reconstruction shows that the ancient El Niño would have had still more catastrophic effects on the lower Ica valley, one of the two centres of the Nazca civilisation.

The Nazca might have survived this potentially devastating event, however, had it not been for their past behaviour, the research suggests. The lower Ica valley, though now a desert, was at the time heavily wooded, with a tree known as the huarango, which can live for more than 1,000 years.

As well as providing the Nazca with wood for fuel and construction and seeds to supplement their diet, the huarango trees played an important ecological role. Their deep root systems held the soil together, protecting it against water and wind erosion.

Thanks, megman. I was just off reading some recent articles as well. An ancient warning and a lesson. Don't radically deforest! Is anyone listening? Well, to some extent they are. Probably not enough.

Noory asks Rhodes for 'personal experiences' with men in black - and laughs. Puts Rhodes on the spot. Hmmmm. It's an interviewing approach of sorts, I guess.

:D

Me? I'd let him spin as much as he can.

The UFO Hunters are apparently on the scene out here in Washington state...

'Skinny chicken stuff'. ;) That's a fair description. But, someone has to do it.

The guest has this 'tenative' voice that sometimes happens in these shows, and Noory asks if he (the guest) is frightened.

And off we go...

The guest manages to be as unpredictable as possible. That's how he manages to 'stay alive'.

'97% of all life on this planet has yet to be encountered by human beings' - John Rhodes

Especially 'reptile human beings'...
And, these may be the ancestors of dinosaurs!

And - they may have become very advanced in technology, especially the ability to travel 'off world' - and are now returning from other space environments. 'Interterrestrial creatures'.

Also, tying in a 'return' by the reptilians here with the Mayan Calendar.

Oh oh. Now Noory, of course, asks if the reptilians are what people associate with 'The Devil'.

hmmmmmm...

*note: neither interviewer nor guest seem too excited about any of this.

I love these kind of shows -- classic C2C. Noory doesn't do enough of 'em. I'll take utterly fantastic stories that no one takes *too* seriously over "serious" shows like h1n1 conspiracy shows or numerology/astrology shows...

Point is, no one believes in Reptilians. It's just good fun.

But people *do* believe that flu vaccines will kill you, and that some woman can recite a bunch of numbers and tell you if you should get a divorce.

Scary.
