Something I've never quite believed was that, if there were a North American Union, its currency would be called the "amero" like the euro. Both the USA and Canada use the dollar. Why would it not be likely called the North American dollar?

That's due to an overabundance of squirrels last year. A least that's what I've heard botanists say.
