Yeah, he did, and that led to some interesting shows later. I'm trying to remember who sat in for Art while he was gone.

No one sat in for Art when he was gone, they did the best of Art shows when he went on vacation.......

Don't remember when they started fill in hosts...think it was after one of Art's retirements, maybe when Mike Siegal took over in 2000

Just a quick post to note that Hilly Rose was the first "Guest Host" on "Coast to Coast AM". Hilly first hosted the program after Art suddenly and surprisingly announced his retirement following what we later would learn was the assault on Art's son.
