The last Movie we saw at the Drive In was The Jerk w/ Steve Martin and Bernadette Peters. It was our first and last Drive in experience as Arizonans-we about had heat stroke even though it was night, lol! Hey this guy does sound like JC, and "Cletus from Arkansas"? That sounds fishy!

We saw that too! They said the "land" fell off in the forties. "Hollywoodland" was a housing development they were selling and they put the sign up to advertise it.

Hi pattiwacki :)

Yes, Hilly is a good host.

I belong to Hilly's website and download his weekly shows....think it is only .95 for a year.......
I used to belong also but have downloaded all 278 of Hilly's classic Sirius radio shows that Fate made available (There were over 500 made but only 278 are available) and all 126 of his current Fate shows. A $14.95 one year membership is all that is required to do this, as they start repeating the classic Sirius radio shows after about 10 months and the current Fate Magazine show which comes out every two weeks is available free for 1 week for streaming ( and recording to Total Recorder) after it is posted. They repost a repeat Fate Magazine show during the other week. Shirley, the correct link is http://www.fatemag.com not org which is something different.

Actually it could have been E.T. the last time we went to a drive in, depending on which one came out first, who remembers.

Racehorse I don't think any of the shows are free now, if you are not a member they only let you listen to a sample of the show...you are right also, I must have signed up for six months at $7.95, don't know why I put up .org must have been thinking of Michio Kaku http://www.mkaku.org

Both movies are enjoying a revival-two kids in my PreK class have "Blues Brothers" shirts!

The last one I went to was with some girls from the firehouse. There was only on Drive in left, in Westbury, and the majority wanted the slasher movie...yuck...I think it was Michael Myers and it had H2O or something in the Title.

Don't think I could handle watching the Blues Brothers today, wasn't that crazy about it back in the day.

You have to be joking patti, Blues Brothers isn't exactly PreK material.......what kind of parents do they have, no wonder this country is going to hell in a hand basket.
