It sure does. Slows your thought processes way down. Your brain functions in slow-motion. After awhile it goes back to normal, but it takes several months. I quit smoking in 1996 after 23 years of 1.5 to 2 packs per day. Used the gum and it did the trick for me. Art, hang in there, you will overcome !!
