JERUSALEM (Reuters) - An Israeli attack on Iranian nuclear sites looks "unavoidable" given the apparent failure of sanctions to deny Tehran technology with bomb-making potential, one of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's deputies said on Friday.
If Iran continues with its program for developing nuclear weapons, we will attack it. The sanctions are ineffective," Transport Minister Shaul Mofaz told the mass-circulation Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper.
"Attacking Iran, in order to stop its nuclear plans, will be unavoidable," said the former army chief who has also been defense minister.
It was the most explicit threat yet against Iran from a member of Olmert's government, which, like the Bush administration, has preferred to hint at force as a last resort should U.N. Security Council sanctions be deemed a dead end.

Yep, Dems the facts.
Remember a while back when the intelligence community said Iran halted an effort to build a nuclear warhead in mid-2003 and had been good since?
Further, the U.N. International Atomic Energy Agency, which is investigating the program, has found no evidence to date of an active Iranian nuclear-weapons project.
Yet McCain and Obama both made a BIG deal about nukes in front of AIPAC the other day. Rice and Olmert also rattled swords loudly.
We should all be on the lookout for signs of an impending false flag attack, methinks.

I think we should relinquish our seat at the U. N. The first hint was when Kofi Annan's son was implicated of improperly using his influence to benefit for the 'Oil for Food' program, if no one understood before then, what was going on at the U.N.
Not to mention taking action on countries that do not comply to sanctions, taking the burden of the outcome, in to their own hands.
