It's on CNN now...it's horrific.... Wonder if this was the result of a quake...isn't it on the north end of of the New Madras fault line?

Thanks Joanie, and also thank God for cell phones, couldn't get through on the land line, the circuits are all busy, I remember that well in 89 trying to call my daughter in Michigan, it took me 11 hours of hitting redial.

I'm still here... watching Olbermann's coverage on MSNBC.
My neighbors across the street are from Minneapolis, so the first thing I did when the news bulletin came on was to call and tell them because they have family and friends there. Hope they are all OK.
Sounds like they think it might have something to do with the construction on the bridge. I dunno. I do know that our infrastructure seems to be crumbling fast across the country. We've neglected it.
Going back to watching.
