New Stones Song Anti- Bush?

Post by Harmoniman » 08-11-2005 10:27 AM

The new Rolling Stones song, Sweet Neo CON, is alleged to be of an anti repueblickan vent. Here are some of the lyrics. Judge for yourself.
You call yourself a christian
I think you're a hypocrite
They say you are a patriot
I think you're a crock of ****
but one thing that is certain
Life is good at halliburton
If you're really so astute
You should invest in brown and root

Personally, I like this song.I think it's going to the top of the charts.You won't be hearing it on Clear Channel, though.We should and probably will have more songs of this nature.Suppression of free will and freedom of thought is cause for revolution. The Stones have had other political songs in the past. Here is a small sampling;
(I can't get no) satisfaction- Clintons ode to hillary
Sympathy for the devil- a paean to G.H.W. Bush
Mothers little helper- Limbaugh dances the night
away to this song.
Start me up- Dick Chaneys morning ritual.
Lets spend the night together - A favorite of both
Slick Willie and JFK.

LOL!

I've heard *about* this song, but haven't heard it yet. Many's the time I've thought in the last few years, "Where are Crosby, Stills, and Nash when you need them?" ;)

In rehab...just kidding. The song will be released in Sept. Incidently, the Stones were to replace Hank Williams Jr.- ?- for Monday Night Football. Now the Mickey Mouse channel is reconsidering.

Of course it will be an automatic hit why wouldn't it.
Its timely and accurate Rock and Roll lyrics for all generations

If the Stones have been told its wrong by some political
insiders ... they must hold stock in the music industry.
What a way to launch a tune to the top of the charts.
