My republican hubby just left the house, so I've changed all of the televisions to C-Span 2 and cranked up the volume

I don't get CSpan2 was there a lot of protestors as the main stream said there were few.

Tiffany, there are 10s of thousands, the media is adhereing to their corporate pro-Bush masters and are ignoring it. See my thread about the real media coverage in the media forum if you want to see whats really going on.

BTW, does anyone know what time the parade IS?!? By the looks of the video I'm seeing, with the security detail 5-6 officers deep lining the street, must be soon!

Watching this is making me wish I would have gone to DC like I'd threatened the hubby I wanted to do ..... DAMN, DAMN, DAMN.

He's still not my president. Today, when I awoke, I put my mourning clothes on ... Mourning for my country and praying that she'll be able to brave the crud that will certainly be thrown at her in the next 4 years.

Zod, watching cspan requires intelligence. There are no talking heads telling you what you can see for yourself.

If you cannot handle that.... go back to watching pigboy and the telephone masturbator and you will not have to think at all. The assholes will tell you what opinions to have.

Exactly Corv. If thinking for yourself is too much for you to handle, CSPAN and non-corporate news may not be for you.

This is what years of fluroide and tv mind control have done the human attention span--people get bored when required to think for themselves. We can all fight this by shutting off the boob tube and searching out independent media services.

Well did turn on the TV' to Peter J' and watched for awhile, then fell asleep after listening to the least' UN'inspiring speech from Gw'.. about Freedom and Liberty'
When I woke up again I saw protestors all fenced (20ft. high fences btw') in' with with a few dozen swat teams holding up the fence...

Hey' didn't I hear before I fell asleep a speech about 'Freedom and Liberty"... guess it wasn't for the citizens of the America...

Oh I see the self appointed King of the world' might get a glimpse of the fact.. the hundreds of thousands don't agree with him..' .. and the NeoCons' don't want it to rain on his parade.. (like last time)...

Later, guys... I'll go back to dreaming about the America I once knew...

make that a 10 ft.' fence sorry...

On regular C-Span saw signs that said: Impeach Bush for War Crimes. Bush Liar, Bush Worst President Ever, Chanting Bush We Know You, Your Daddy Was A Killer Too, and lots of BOO's. Some turning backs on Bush as he drove by holding signs that said Liars.

Bush was riding by and lots of boo's for a long stretch. Secret Service walking along the car looked extra nervous.
