Sure! He voted against the first Gulf War... he also proposed - voted:

# Expand microloans to small businesses. (Apr 2002)
# Voted NO on prioritizing national debt reduction below tax cuts. (Apr 2000)

* and, generally pander to the moronic religious nut case throwbacks who believe in stuff like Noahs Arc, a flat earth, creationism and the battle of Armageddon.

Now that I've satisfied CaptainBeyond (aka Dansgold?) it's time to return to the topic of this thread:

BUSH's DRUG USE / National Guard history
The Nation -full story...

Why Bush Left Texas
by Russ Baker - September 14, 2004

Growing evidence suggests that George W. Bush abruptly left his Texas Air National Guard unit in 1972 for substantive reasons pertaining to his inability to continue piloting a fighter jet.

A months-long investigation, which includes examination of hundreds of government-released documents, interviews with former Guard members and officials, military experts and Bush associates, points toward the conclusion that Bush's personal behavior was causing alarm among his superior officers and would ultimately lead to his fleeing the state to avoid a physical exam he might have had difficulty passing.....The Nation -full story...

You are correct. And Dans was at least intelligent. Just between you and me, this guy is coming unglued. ;)

Captain, First you imply (and challenge) that I can't answer your quesiton, then when I do, you don't like the answer. (it must be Dansgold)
CaptainBeyond said: "The flag burning and sexual orientation have nothing to do with 99% of us."

Exactly! So why does the GOP use it every election cycle? WHY?! Because they will never win on real issues alone: They need to get out the Christian Cretin Vote ..

And what party would you like? The "Libertarian" Social Darwinist Party?? No thanks. Not unless I wake up tomorrow and find a few extra million$ in the bank will I jump to that camp.. No, I'd like something more like the German SPD (yes, that's Social Democratic Party (Socialist! ).

YES! But Merc, I don't believe for a second, that even if you won the Lotto, you would sink into Social Darwinism.

Cocaine produces its effects by manipulating parts of the users brain. Cocaine stimulates a specific area of the brain that produces pleasurable feelings. When a brain is working normally without the interference of cocaine a neurotransmitter in the brain called dopamine is released and then recycled back. What changes when cocaine is introduced is that the the dopamine is no longer recycled back and it continues to build up, this is what creates cocaine's euphoric effects.

Over time, cocaine users develop a tolerance to cocaine's euphoric effects and feel that they require more cocaine to get high. What this means is that the users brain now requires more cocaine at more frequent intervals to block additional dopamine which provides the user with the same euphoric effect that they initially felt. Research has show that when a frequent user of cocaine discontinues use it does not take much to trigger a craving for the drug. Mere memories of using cocaine can lead to regular use again. Even images or items associated with cocaine such as mirrors, razors, and straws can cause pleasurable effects of cocaine to resurface in the users memory and draw them back into their old habits.

Merc, I'm sorry but I have to address this:
***************************************************
CaptainB I'm getting to feel pretty sorry that I welcomed you.

Don't you be calling Corvid or anyone else here a Communist!
***************************************************
Now back to the subject at hand.

In my opinion, before Bush was elected, I saw behavior that others did not notice (well some here did).

His quick temper, his eye movements, his demeanor, his smirk when not appropriate. Maybe it is because I grew up with an alcoholic father but I recognized something very startling in that individual even before the election.

Drugs and alchohol make an individual, walk differently, express differently, react differently, do things that you would not do at the inappropriate times. Yes I saw something in Bush that made me stop in my tracks and this could have been because of my life experience growing up.

Tiff, I know that being the child of an addict/alcoholic is very difficult as I experienced first hand with my mother. Your personal observations are correct.

There are long term effects, and a small but growing body of evidence that residual effects can last for years.

As I was putting together this information I was boggled! BushCo is a CLASSIC COKE HEAD!

Long-tem cocaine effects:

Lying
Absenteeism at work
Paranoia
Mood disturbances
Irritability
Restlessness
Stealing
