I'm sorry Byeman/Endtimes, but that did not happen. If you would like proof, here's a page from the war diary of the USS Texas, dated June 6th. This comes from volunteer Chuck Moore's website; I know Chuck well and can vouch for his accuracy.

And BB-35 was also a pre-WWI dreadnought battleship, being launched on May 18, 1912 and commissioned March 12,1914.

The war diary clearly shows that the USS Texas anchored and manuvered several times that day. Her guns were accurate enough.
