Anyone catch the leonid meteors ?

I didnt, was supposed to have happened earlier this AM from what i understand :confused:
I bet it was cool, too cluudy on Long island today though..:(

Too cloudy here too seems likes this one is clouded out every year for me.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy!

I just couldn't muster up enough enthusiasm to go out in the cold to look.

According to http://www.spaceweather.com in some parts, they were :

LEODUDS: Sky watchers in Hawaii, Florida, Texas and parts of South America say they saw only a few Leonid meteors this morning. Perhaps Earth missed the anticipated comet debris trail. Or we hit it and the meteors were simply too faint to make an impression. Stay tuned for reports from other parts of the world.

boo, looks like the show was a bust.
well @ least that red eclipse couple weeks ago was cool :cool:
Just as long as the next event isnt the " kill Shot " Ed dames predicted , that will be the show to end all shows :D
