Guess who won tonights Debate , according to the Drudge Poll?
YANG 37.5% (18,693 votes)
He is paying for votes..........Money works
Is that legal?
$1,000----per month------for one year-----10 famlies------
Hey, it's (still) a (mostly) free country.
If not from campaign funds, surely he can direct
his money wherever he likes - That way though I'm no lawyer, my guess is lt's not vote buying
per se, but IMHO? It is.
I'm also not an economic scholar but my guess is regardless of the results his one-year experiment will be hailed by the usual suspects
and Yang himself as irrefutable proof Universal Basic Income works -
How convenient that no short term/small scale UBI "test" like his would reveal the mid-to-long term/large scale effect of its subsidized cash infusion inflating the cost of everything, in time wiping out any gains.
It's simple supply & demand. More money, more demand, all in pursuit of the same amount of goods and services will cause prices to rise accordingly & that grand a month to evaporate. WAIT! There's MORE -
Yang's UBI trial doesn't account for any "de-growth" policies he and the Dems may enact. Like that GND? It's NOT what it says on the tin, folks. Prosperity creator?
HA! It's an economy contracting wealth
destroyer.
You can bet Yang's not gonna piss all
his money away. But if the Dems take over, I advise getting out the rain gear & seeking out high ground, as America's in for one painfully prolonged economic "golden shower".
