One of a few items that I liked last night concerned the issue of punishing those who commit crimes in this country, who came here (illegally) from other countries. At one point Trump stopped, looked directly at the Democrat side of the aisle and asked how anyone could be against punishing criminals, and what their answer would be to those families who have lost loved ones to the actions of people who came here illegally, were deported, came back, were deported again, came back again and committed murder.

I think that, in order for Trump to gain broader support, he needs to frame the discussion in this manner: "What is your answer?" Having seen the Left's answer, it's difficult to support a total blanket amnesty policy.

It is my understanding that the total bill will be done in phases(maybe 3). This part is 123 pages. Democrats welcome for working with the bill, most would rather Bit#$, than legislate . So will more than likely will be passed by republicans in some fashion. To Repeal and Replace is not easy, but if the bill has Good Bones as they say, it will be easier to tweak and refine for future needs. With no expiration date. The Insurance Regulations Must be overhauled along with the health care part.

Fact, Obama Care was never written to last, even with the almost 20 thousand pages (20,000), with over 900 pages of regulations alone.

Rand Paul wants a complete(full) repeal Obama Care, then Implementation . I have no idea, what would be the best way?............

This may explain why Rand Paul's Idea won't work

Why ObamaCare Cannot Simply Be Repealed........

FACT: ObamaCare was passed, using the original legislative vehicle, at 1:38am on 12/23/09 with 60 votes in the Senate.  The House then approved that Senate Bill without changes; and in February 2010 created a secondary bill which created the opportunity for the Senate to modify ObamaCare using “reconciliation” for a lower vote threshold of 51 votes.

[Understand the full construct by reading HERE]  If you do not understand how legislation is created; if you do not understand the difference between the Senate and House; if you do not understand the way ObamaCare was created, you really need to read this first

A clean repeal bill, meaning a law to repeal the entire ObamaCare construct only, would require another 60 vote hurdle in the Senate.

Republicans, while in the majority, only control 52 seats.  Without 8 Democrats voting to approve a “repeal bill”, any House (Or Senate) bill that repeals ObamaCare cannot pass the Senate.

This is why Mark Levin is a con-man; selling snake oil as outrage to keep a listening audience angry, yet clueless and hopeless.   That’s what I don’t like.

A complete repeal of ObamaCare is currently impossible.  The House Freedom Caucus can push all the repeal bills they want, but they cannot get a repeal bill through the Senate because they cannot get the 60 votes needed. Period.

A complete independent repeal bill of ObamaCare is currently impossible.

From article AND MOST IMPORTANT !

Back to ObamaCare’s replacement – there are three options if we are going to retain a constitutional republic, and pass laws with the 60 vote senate threshold:

♦ Option #1 –  We can do nothing – and allow ObamaCare to collapse on it’s own.  In the interim many Americans will be negatively impacted and the more vulnerable and needy will be worst hurt.  Premiums and co-pays continue to skyrocket while the insurance system tries to preserve itself.

♦ Option #2 – We can Repeal and Replace using the three-phase approach being proposed by Tom Price, Paul Ryan and Donald Trump:

1. Pass reconciliation legislation targeting the financial mechanisms.2. HHS rewrites rules.3. New laws are proposed by a full congress to adjust ObamaCare and add to it, and laws debated/passed.

Yes, this has it’s risks.  No guarantee you’ll get the cookie you want in phase three.

♦ Option #3 –  Pass futile structural repeal bills in the House, and watch them pile up in the Senate without the ability to pass and earn 60 votes.   Shout and holler some more, gnash some teeth, and wait for 2018 when Republicans will attempt to win the other 8 seats needed.  Again, even less of a guarantee on the outcome.

Those are our options.

….Unless you want to eliminate the Constitutional Republic and kill the vote threshold in the Senate.  Choose wisely.

We were doing alright, well mostly alright, without the government meddling in health care affordable? for all in need. Locally one small hospital closed it's doors due the the influx of wanna be Americans inundating it's Emergency Room's "free health care"!

The opponents that talk about the AHA being over charged all the time by Big Pharma per pill dosed to those signed up, NEVER talk about hospitals charging $10,000 or more per overnight single occupancy room. What hospital out there in any city over 100K+ builds on additions or tears down 25 year old bricks and mortar only to begin to build another same named gigantic complex across town!

Oh bout forgot and it's maybe off topic but, "Dead hospital staff and dead doctors don't lie!"

Democrat Suggests Trump May Benefit From Tanning Salon Provision of Republicans' Health Care Bill

Post by Riddick » 03-09-2017 09:52 PM

The Democrats' effort to get a look at President Trump's tax returns spilled into the health care debate on Wednesday.

At the House Ways and Means Committee mark-up of the Republican health care bill, Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-Texas) introduced, for the second time in recent weeks, an amendment that would allow the committee to review Trump's tax returns in closed session.

Among other things, Doggett argued that Trump stands to enrich himself from some of the provisions in the Republicans’ health care bill:

Pointing to a "recent analysis by...a series of reporters," Doggett said Trump "personally stands to rake in almost $7 million from two giant tax breaks that are in this bill. And as we get the tanning salon section, we can explore whether there's one of those down in Mar-a-Lago or one of his other resorts, and he's going to benefit even from the tanning provisions here...And so I think it's important to adopt this amendment."

Trump Budget Could Cut Federal Bureaucrats by Highest Levels Since End of World War Two

President Donald Trump will unveil his budget proposals later this week, which is likely to include the cutting of government bureaucrats at levels not seen since the end of the Second World War, according to budget analysts.

The budget, which will be released on Thursday, is expected to drastically decrease the size of government, cutting jobs in sectors such as housing, foreign aid, and environmental protection — and instead prioritizing areas such as the military and homeland security.

The Rest of the Story w/Video

================================

Trump promised revised Health Plan, Keeping us safe at the borders, Draining the Swamp. That Swamp contains a whole lot of unholy stuff!

Health Care, This is the 1st Step of 3 steps to get a new people friendly plan implemented. You are not going hear that!

Borders secured. NO NO NO, Can't have that! No Borders Anywhere! No Sovereignty , a Corporate Run World of the Globalists Dreams, policed by the best population control known to mankind, Radical Islam.

Draining The Swamp. Streamlining Big Government, cutting out excess and duplication, which in turn saves the taxpayer trillions from out of their pockets, better service to our wants and needs.

Trump has also stipulated to cut our funding to the Swamp that is the UN, by 50%.

The Moral to this story is the Left is beside it's self and they won't quit with the Media Lies and calls to Violence. But as clear as our noses on our faces, We have a President that doesn't quit EITHER!

I encourage you to watch, it helps you to understand the 3 Legs of the Health Plan. The Media as well as some of the Legislators , I can only say, lack comprehension skills either intentionally on purpose, or because they simply cannot grasp a concept! ie We have a car with one tire, it will drive like it is intended when 3 tires are added.

(iii)  whether certain administrative capabilities necessary for operating an agency, a component, or a program are redundant with those of another agency, component, or program;

(iv)   whether the costs of continuing to operate an agency, a component, or a program are justified by the public benefits it provides; and

(v)    the costs of shutting down or merging agencies, components, or programs, including the costs of addressing the equities of affected agency staff.

(e) In developing the proposed plan described in subsection (c) of this section, the Director shall consult with the head of each agency and, consistent with applicable law, with persons or entities outside the Federal Government with relevant expertise in organizational structure and management.

Wolverine In The Gate – Robert Lighthizer U.S. Trade Rep. Senate Hearing…

Posted on March 14, 2017 by sundance

For those who are economic and trade policy junkies, President Trump’s key pick for U.S. Trade Representative, Robert Lighthizer, testified today at his Senate Confirmation Hearing.  To skip the legislative posturing {gag} forward the video to 33:00:

Mr. Lighthizer, 69, worked for decades as a trade lawyer, representing clients including U.S. Steel Corp.  Historically, he has been critical of U.S. officials who supported China’s entry into the World Trade Organization in 2001, and argued the move worsened America’s trade deficit and hollowed out our manufacturing sector.

Two decades of actual, and quantifiable, results later shows Lighthizer was absolutely 100% correct in his criticisms and predictions.  Ultimately this is why the Globalists within the Democrat machine want to keep Lighthizer out of office.  Mr. Lighthizer will forget more about trade deals than the next closest person could ever know.
