Nothing wrong with socialism it just needs to be financed by something other than "other" peoples money, other wise it is just a greed and power play. The intention is to hurt and divide, certainly not to help. If we could find our way to a capitalist financed socialisim, we could have a win win. IMHO. But solutions would certainly hinder "revenge" And that is not a popular idea at this time.

Agreed, Sanders is at least honest and up-front with his views, unlike any politicians who change positions frequently depending no their audience. Just look at the past 20-30 years now..........

'course, then there's Trump freaking out BOTH sides of the aisle bringing-up issues as diverse as illegal immigration and the national debt. Neither side wants to address these issues. Trump mentioned Ford's plans to open another factory in Mexico on an MSNBC interview the other day, and all the reporter wanted to talk about was his words on illegal immigrants. He started talking about US debt to China, and he got the same question on illegal immigration. When he tried to address the issue in SF and how the city's sanctuary city status may have contributed to the tragedy, the interviewer went completely blank.
What was better, when MSNBC followed-up in the interview on Alex Wagner's show, she didn't even mention the issues of job loss and climbing debt, all they focused on was "the crazy racist" angle......
Almost on-cue - Trump said that the media won't cover issues of job losses to Mexico and escalating debt owed to foreign countries, and the very next interview broadcast on MSNBC didn't even cover his points on the issue.
Sometimes, between "the crazy" characters like Sanders and Trump (and others before them) and the media shills who carry water for the PTB that blissfully watch the country go down the tubes with job losses, you have to wonder, "who's the crazy one here.....?". The people who are factually correct, or those with the fake smiles broadcasting the company line..........???

Donald Trump must really want to be president. Because he is letting his brand take a beating.
Remember when Sen. Barack Obama campaigned as No Drama Obama? Donald Trump is following the opposite strategy. There’s no fracas he won’t join. Occasionally voters give presidential candidates the single-finger salute for blocking traffic in primary states. You can imagine Trump stopping his motorcade to return fire.
This isn’t the normal behavior of a presidential candidate—which is exactly the ticket that Trump is running on. He’s not a candidate; he’s a brand. But the brand is taking a hit. What’s happening now is that companies find it profitable, or at least to their public relations advantage, to get in the news cycle for abandoning Trump.
Shouldn’t Trump, the consummate marketer, know what’s going on here? People are willing to boast about abandoning their associations with him no matter how small because the bandwagon is rolling and they want to do the cool thing. It’s so hip to drop Trump, it’s amazing that it didn’t start in Brooklyn.
This isn’t about votes. There is a group of Republican voters who like what Trump is saying, how he says it, and don’t mind that the political clowns are being ruffled by this party-crasher. So the controversy could help Trump in a limited way politically. Still, his chances of becoming president are less than infinitesimal. However, he will still be Trump the brand after the race is over.
Though the political class may not take his candidacy seriously, the fact that Trump is willing to let his business brand be tarnished in the service of his campaign is a sign that at least he takes his candidacy seriously.
