The Maritime Historical Radio Society (MHRS) had their yearly 'night of nights' last night. Some of you might appreciate this geeky stuff.

How did you get this video of my basement?

Impressive to say the least and the 'Jesus
stick' reminded me of the time the stick failed and I landed on my butt knocked out. The arm still stings 40 years later.

I have the "sticks" from our old analog transmitter. Good memories of when the beam voltage interlock failed to short out. That left a charge of 19kv on the tubes.

The VOA transmitters could also be widdow makers. I saw one of them go "bang" because of too much dust in the PA cabinet. Impressive!!
