Old Yaesu FT 101EE and amp.
I don't have an Amateur radio license, but I do happen to own a Yaesu FT101 EE and a FL 2100b. in great working condition. I love old radios and never could part with these.

I love posting pics.
Here is my primitive citizen band communications I use out of the garage.
A few of us garage dwellers around here use this primitive means to communicate with one another.

Due to current economic conditions the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off.

another boring pic hehe
Here is the antenna I use, it is a "Hustler Jam Ram jr 27" built in the late 70's. It works and looks beautiful, it will also make for an excellent 10 m antenna for the Yaesu FT 101 when ever I take the general ham exam.
I could have it higher but the weather here has been crazy, we had almost half our town damaged buy a tornado Sunday.
So I have it lowered on the home made telescopic mass. I dont want to wreck this beauty.

I am interested in any old radio including the FM. I want to make the jump from CB to Ham though pretty bad.
We do have a good time on CB around here, there are only maybe a dozen of us in the whole county and we have a few beers and joke around. It is nice cause when I am alone in the garage I am not really alone, just key the ole mic and maybe someone is doing the same.
Yes Fan, we all need more "Junk" hehe. one of life's pleasures.

Is that aAstatic D-104 Microphone?:)
I had one of those. The last mic I had was a Turner super sidekick. It had a nice ping when ya keyed it.
Man. Must have been 30 years gone by now.
