One thing that Obama has accomplished is to give the insurance companies a "legal" out in that they can now cancel policies that have worked very well for many people, and replace these policies with new versions that cost a lot more and contain features that many will never, ever use. By working to provide coverage to the 15% that didn't have any plan, he's screwed-up the porcess for the otehr 85%. Nice legacy.
The concept of Obama and the Democrats, especially, not being in bed with corprations has finally been put to bed. That the Democratic Senate totally caved and didn't even bother to read the bill, essentially rubber-stamping the document shows me at least that their feigned caring for the middle and lower classes is all talk. People can (rightly) complain about the GOP, but I would think that they'd be more than a little pissed with the Democrats.
