But didn't Adolph Hitler win the Peace Prize in 1938 by a vote of 9 to 1?
Face it, Riddick, people don't care about the person. It's all about "their" party. There are no independent thinkers. Just sheep that follow the republican, democrat, conservative, or liberal viewpoint blindly.
It used to be, IMO, that "voting the party", was fairly typical, and, for the better part of the 20th century, a good thing for the country. At least, that is my thought.
But now, I think that both sides have becomes so entrenched in their ideology, and BIG MONEY has become such an issue in the voting practice, that the country is now on a course of wild pendulum swings - first to the Far Left and The Great Society, and then to the Far Right and the Neo-Cons and their globalist views - playing a a real-life game of Risk with the world's population at stake. And now we're going back the other way with Obama and the Progressives inviting the world into a state-sponsored giveaway played against the strains of We Are the World......
In both cases, the American middle class is getting hammered - both by the Koch Brothers types as well as by the Saul Alinsky types.
