To everything, there is a season.
Back in May, the administration was feeling the heat. The controversies came, one after another. And then along with all the others, along strode Snowden, setting the stage for a long hot summer of sweltering scandals.
Yet here it is July 1st, and rather than temperatures rising worse than what they're seeing in Death Valley, the mercury indicates exactly the opposite. Press and public attention has cooled off noticeably overall. What happened?
Was what we witnessed all just a lot of hot air that's now dissipated, atmospheric anomalies having no enduring effect on the prevailing winds in Washington, where showering clouds of whitewash cover-up covert chicanery?
