Socialism only works until one person deems it necessary to take more than their share, or change the rules for the others.
A serious socialist would
never dictate taking more than their fair distribution! As such, it's unlikely they'd change rules at all indiscriminately or without cause, making alterations upon proper reflection of their status and stature that their share is insufficient relative to the important work of determining what's fair and proper FOR the others:
By way
of familiar allegory, picture a farm where horses and oxen faithfully toil away to the point of exhaustion or death, while they and other animals see rations reduced - At the same time all the more of what they produce is taken away, leaving a living standard lower than ever and below anything anyone would wish on their worst enemy -
Clearly, the singularly obvious conclusion to be made here is all this grotesque injustice is the horrid handiwork of a totally unconscionable agribusinessman or conglomerate. HAH! If only!
Meanwhile,
back at the farm house, partying pigs living high on the hog are pleased as punch to be plotting out the next 5 year production plan with a 300% quota increase and a 60% cut in rations, all across the board - Well NOT
exactly all across, as those deserving will see a suitably sizable jump in recompense, benefits and vacation -
'Course those judged deserving are porcine. What could be fairer? It'd be a huge mistake to believe greed drives
them; far from being capitalist pigs, no more and no less do
they determine what's right and what's wrong ONLY in devoted dedication to the collective cause, just as it should be for all the less intelligent animals on the farm.
Regardless of its oinky origins, once the door is opened to let tyranny in, unaddressed its bureaucratic basis begins to snowball, knowhutImean?
