Who knew????? According to Obama and the Far Left, virtually everyone would be covered by the new insurance plans.
The U.S. residents who will remain uninsured under the ACA
Most of the uninsured residents will be citizens, researchers say
Who will be uninsured
Assuming that all currently undecided states opt into the expansion, then in 2016:
•26.9% of uninsured residents will be below 100% of the FPL;
•29.9% will be between 100% and 199% of the FPL;
•29.5% will be between 200% and 399% of the FPL; and
•13.7% will be above 399% of the FPL.
Assuming that all currently undecided states opt out of the expansion, then in 2016:
•27.5% of uninsured residents will be below 100% of the FPL;
•30.0% will be between 100% and 199% of the FPL;
•29.0% will be between 200% and 399% of the FPL; and
•13.4% will be above 399% of the FPL.
In either scenario, about 59% of the uninsured residents will be employed, and nearly 60% will be between ages 18 and 44.

In a slightly similar issue - I work at a hospital that was bought-out by an investment firm over a year ago. We're now for-profit, and of course, they're looking to slash costs wherever, and however opssible. One way they're looking to do this is through our insurance.
So, they self-insured. On paper , it looks good, and it soudns good. But, when you try to actually use the plan.......
I have a co-worker. She has a daughter who has some issues, and one is that she has seizures. She's been on medication for this for a while now. Out new plan calls fro "maintenence meds" to be orderred through a mail-order pharmacy with a three month supply. Kinda common arrangement.
She reordered her daughtger's medication and the bill came back for $3,000 for a three-month supply. Obviously, she can' t afford this. She types and ehr husband does carpentry - hardly lucrative careers..... She's been fighting ever since the beginning of the year, getting letters from her daughter's doctors, copies of medical records and so forth. The powers that be say that they don't have the documentation and she had to write more letters and appeal again. Her daughter will run out of her meds in a couple of weeks. The suits say it will take at least four weeks to decide the issue - which they should have decided months ago.
I'm finding that the "caring" that used tio exist is getting shot ni the profit margins...... Not an Obamacare issue directly. But, the guy who runs the scam, (er "operation) is a huge Obama supporter......
