You forgot the Shi'ite/ Sunni nonsense that pre-dates even the 1480 "nonsense" as you called it, that is still continuing in the Mideast and is ready to erupt again in Iraq. Wanna talk about "nonsense"? How about a "peaceful religion" who's main claim to fame is killing one another? I know - there'a a rush to get to those 70-odd virgins awaiting the true believers in the afterlife ......... But, I guess when it's imbedded in your religion to mistreat, own and even kill women just because they're women...... Oh crap!!!! There I go being politically-incorrect again

2 More Muslims Arrested in Boston Bombing Investigation

UPDATE: “Kadyrbayev’s VK “world view” is Islam, his “personal priority” is listed as “improving the world” and next to “Important in others” he has listed “kindness and honesty.” He has listed his views on smoking and alcohol as “very negative.”
3 suspects in total. Azamat Tazhayakov and Dias Kadyrbayev are Kazakh Muslims, but the third, Robel Phillipos, is of uncertain religion and may have been one of the non-Muslim classmates who are still supporting Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

Now, I know that we've been admonished by our fearless leader to "not rush to judge", but at some point (I would hope) even he should recognize that there is a pattern here.

It's time that this administration acknowledge this.

You forgot..
Yep.. and if all religions had shorter memories the world would be a better place. Maybe we need more fluoride in the holy water? As long as it's god's war it's good war - I get it. Been this way for centuries. Very tribal - primitive - and childish. So when is it even? When can we call it a day on this side killing that side because that side wants to kill this side? Which side is the civilized side that is wise enough to see that this will never end the way it's being dealt with now? I think both sides have a lot to learn and they are looking in the wrong Book for answers.

And kbot, your link is terrible - and not just because it's broken. If you can't see that a site has an extremist agenda then you probably should keep links in your bookmarks or let folks know it's an extremist hate site before they click. That is not information - it's racist far right-wing crap. Only thing worse is far left wing crap. Anyone can find a site that will back up any ideology. I prefer my facts on the level, not biased.

So where should I put this new hate thread after I carve these off-topic hate posts out? The Brig? The Bilge? Or can we let this little detour into the murk slide by and get back to the crime of bombing free Americans on tax day?

Front Page is not a "right-wing hate site" or whatever. Again, Dale, you reveal your crypto-leftism. Now, I'm not a David Horowitz fan, but his story is pretty interesting -- a 60s Socialist who got involved with the Black Panthers and accordingly "mugged by reality" in a transformational way. His site follows the typical right-wing sensibility of endorsing egalitarianism while ceaselessly pointing out left-wing "double standards" that absolutely no one cares about.

Yeah, it's all about the love there.. sorry, I claim complete ignorance of Horowitz - never been to his site till now, but I skimmed the article titles and subsections, pages linked..it's completely biased. And I weigh that accordingly..not as information but as an agenda. If I want to read about why the left is wrong and the right is right, this site is fine. But will I find honest critique of their side there? And I didn't call it a hate site, I said it was far-right wing crap..and I hold that unless you show me a story or editorial there that disproves this. It's the posts here in this thread that are full of hate - and way off topic. This isn't P&G..

Look, it's the well-known right-wing hate site, USA Today....
Dias Kadyrbayev and Azamat Tazhayakov, 19, were charged Wednesday with conspiracy to obstruct justice by conspiring to destroy, conceal and cover up tangible objects belonging to [Djoker] Tsarnaev, namely a laptop computer and backpack containing fireworks. ...

Kadyrbayev, a citizen of Kazakhstan who entered the United States on a student visa, faces a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a 0,000 fine if convicted.

UMass Dartmouth says Kadyrbayev is no longer a student there. His profile on the VK Russian social network site says he is a member of the class of 2015 at the School of Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology. However, Sara McDonnell, assistant media relations manager at MIT, said, "There is no registered MIT student of that name."

Kadyrbayev first met Tsarnaev in the fall of 2011 at UMass and became better friends with him the following spring, he told investigators. ...

Kadyrbayev's VK "world view" is Islam, his "personal priority" is listed as "improving the world" and next to "Important in others" he has listed "kindness and honesty." He has listed his views on smoking and alcohol as "very negative."

Kadyrbayev indicates his music preferences are Gucci Mane, Ralph Cieli and Juicy J.

Azamat Tazhayakov is a Kazakhstan national, a pretty good soccer player and a 19-year-old accused of helping the suspected Boston Marathon bomber get away with the crime.

In Kazakhstan, Tazhayakov grew up in Atyrau and graduated from Miras International School in Astana, according to his Facebook page. At the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth, he played in the indoor soccer league and made the all-star team, league records show.

The school said Wednesday he has been suspended pending the outcome of the case.

West Kazakhstan Today reported April 26 that Tazhayakov's father, Ismagoulov Amir Tazhayakhovich, a deputy on the city council of the family's hometown Atyrau, planned to fly to Boston to see his son, who had been arrested on immigration charges.

The father is a "well-known businessman" who chairs the board of directors of Abylaikhan Group JSC, a residential home builder, the newspaper reported.

Hate!
Robel Phillipos, charged with lying to authorities investigating the Boston Marathon bombings, was the first friend to recognize Dzhokar Tsarnaev's photo on TV news and alert the two other university students accused of aiding the suspect, according to the FBI affidavit released Wednesday.

Phillipos, Tsarnaev and Dias Kadyrbayev and Azamat Tazhayakov attended the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth. Phillipos, 19, of Cambridge, was studying marketing, but the university said Wednesday he is not currently enrolled.

With Tsarnaev, he was a 2011 graduate of the prestigious Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, the city schools' superintendent's office said.

Phillipos, a U.S. citizen, lives with his mother, who is from Ethiopia and works with refugees, WHDH-TV reported. Their Cambridge apartment is next to the gas station where the Tsarnaev brothers carjacked a vehicle before getting into the shootouta with police in which 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed.

"Robel is a nice boy, very nice kid," said neighbor Tecleverhan Mengistu, who has known the family for 15 years.

In this thread..yes.
Bad to you maybe as you seem to thrive on the emotion. You can hate all you want to in the P&G area where it's allowed if not encouraged. Here in National we need to keep to the topic at hand and not digress into religion bashing.

I'm just calling it for what it is, something that this administration has been trying its darndest to avoid. Look, if this were an attack by the Far Right Tea Party crowd, I'd be pissed at them, and so would the Left. And you just know that if it WERE the Tea Party, white-supremacist crowd that was involved in this attack (call it what is was for crying out loud), that the Left would have been trumpeting their backgrounds on every outlet and resource available to them 24/7.

But, because the atackers weren't we're not supposed to even mention that because if we did, we're "haters" as we've been scolded by this administration and the Lefist media outlets.

And, your double-standard shows by your continued denegration of Christianity. So, by your logic, you can lob verbal bombs against Christianity, but we're not allowed to lob verbal exchanges back?

I thought that this was a thread that was discussing the Boston Marathon bombings. ALL I did was post a link to a story that claims that two of the younger suspects (please, how "PC" is that???) just so happen to also be members of the same group that has been spreading violence around the globe, attacking our country and killing people here at home. I'm sorry if this upsets you, but I have a feeling that, had this been an attack by someone who trained in the military, fought in a war and enjoyed NASCAR that you'd be much more upset than you are.

I do agree with you in that both sides need to chill, but where we differ is that I'm not willing to give these idiots a pass. They brought this violence to us. The people in Boston, New York, Ft Hood - and Spain, France and England who have been killed or maimed by these people did nothing wrong, and certainly didn't deserve to be hurt by these allegedly "peaceful" people..... The violence between Muslims and Israelis has been going on for a long, long time, but I don't recall seeing the Israelis bringing their war with Muslims to the US.

As far as the "hate" aspect - look at the people who attacked the people in Boston. You wanna see "hate"? It's staring you (and this ultra-apologist administration) squarely in the eyes. Recognize their actions and their outlook for what they are. So, the people in Boston are supposed to be blown apart - killed or maimed, and we're supposed to all sing Kumbaya? Wow.......
