As I said - a reporter asked at the first press conference last night "Was this a false flag operation?".

I thought about this too. But sometimes when something shocks us, we take a few minutes to gather our wits before we flee. Many people have perished because they hesitated for too long after being taken completely off guard. I don't know which reaction would be the norm though. For me, my instant reaction is the same as yours would be...flee immediately...so you are probably correct Fan.

I feel that the media is doing a horrible job in reporting this story. There are so many inconsistencies. I appreciate that it takes time for investigations into events such as this but honestly I felt the coverage of September 11th was far superior and factual. Did anyone listen to C2C last night? Did you hear the comment regarding the bomb squad was conducting controlled explosions at the same time as the explosions near the finish line? If that were true then it would extremely coincidental. When I tried to view the source of this report online it referenced Alex Jones so I figure it is probably not true. Anyone know differently? Just curious....

I have read people stating that the cops were at the finish line (starting line in some stories) with dogs, telling people "it is only a drill". HOWEVER this is often how stories get started, and they end up being very different. The "planned drill" angle was started by naturalnews.com as far as I can tell, although they may end up being right, they jumped to conclusions right away.

If you think the reporting here is bad and misleading you must not have followed sandy hook closely, because it set a new standard for crazy reporting.

It is the whole problem, you can't try and figure out what really happened because all sources of information, no matter what must be suspect. You can plant a news story as easily as you can plant a tweet (or a thousand).

For some reason Mail ON Line is loaded with pictures, some graphic, BE WARNED! Also lots of info, I have a hunch that they have their own reporters there. Any way "discernment" by readers is always the way to approach stuff anyway. :(

One of my regular reading sites! :)

The article expresses exactly what I have been thinking since yesterday.

All the supposed TV 'expert talking heads' start out their interview by warning that it is too soon to tell who the perpetrators are and then they launch into lecturing everybody else not to jump to conclusions. Soon after offering up this sound advice, they proceed to express their own individual reasons as to why they think the perps are Muslim, home grown, lone wolf, right wing extremists etc. Their analysis is dependent upon their own particular political bent of course. It is laughable!
