Watching MSNBC as well and was very dissappointed in the way Lawrence O'Donnell went after Eric Cantor. Its one thing to press a question its another to be rude.Linnea wrote: Watching MSNBC at present - and some sour grapes are emerging there.

Matthews was asking her if she intended now to pursue investigations into the 'unamerican activities' of some elected representatives on the Hill as she stated during the campaign. Matthews was being quite snarky and kept pressing her on the issue. Not one of his better moments.
None of these people would ever come on MSNBC or any other news outlet prior to tonight. Only Foxy News. Well, now they will have to answer to the rest of the media.
Sure MSNBC did bash them in the beginning for saying outrageously stupid things like...Rand Paul and all businesses have the right to turn away black people if they so choose. The media was blame, never them. I would laugh at them too.
Voted early this afternoon.....
It was a lovely day, and I live in a very young, densely packed, hipster neighborhood. The streets were busy as usual as I made my way to the school that houses my polling location.
I am sad to report that I was only the 73rd person to bother showing up today to cast my vote in my election district.

I agree, I hope Reid pulls it out as well (Angle fails to impress) - but still prefer the idea of Schumer as Majority leader, I think he would be far more effective moving forward.

Alaska is another interesting scenario.
From what I'm hearing on the John Batchelor show, the exit polling makes it look mostly like a Republican vs. Republican fight at this point.
It would have been particularly interesting to see the Dem potentially win - and further underscored the issues Tea-Party candidates present to the Republican party.
Personally, I hope Miller goes down.

Touch and go here still on the Murray/Rossi Senate race. Prop 19 goes down to defeat in California. No legalization of the dreaded leaf and bud.
Ah well. I don't indulge. heh. I'm sure many are disappointed there though.
I also hope Joe Miller does not win. He seems quite arrogant and has some fairly extreme ideas.
