Wisconsin Governor Tells His AG To Bag Lawsuit Against Refor

* Wisconsin Governor Tells His AG To Bag Lawsuit Against Reform:

Governor Jim Doyle of Wisconsin has told his state’s attorney general to forget about suing to overturn health reform, as a dozen AGs are trying to do. In a terse but scathing letter to Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen, Doyle told him his request for the state to sue is being denied.

“This law is an act of Congress, signed by the President of the United States,” Doyle wrote. “The lawsuit you suggest is a frivolous and political attempt to thwart the actions of Congress and the law of the country.

“The State of Wisconsin will not enter into litigation intended to deny health care for tens of thousands of residents,” Doyle concluded.

He isn’t the only Governor pwnking his own AG: Governor Christine Gregoire of Washington State has also lashed out in similar terms at the state’s AG for joining the lawsuit.

The AG's are acting embarassingly, making political grandstanding at the backs of our tax money. Which of course the hypocrisy of being supported by people who say they are against govt waste.

If u can`t stand the heat get out of the kitchen GO AG`s as for Washington States Gov. She is a Joke

According to SurveyUSA, Gregoire's approval rating has not been above 42% since she was reelected in November, 2008. A SurveyUSA poll taken in March 2010 showed her approval rating at 31%, with 65% disapproving of her performance as governor.

According to the Seattle Times' analysis, nearly half of Gregoire's 2004 campaign contributions came from out-of-state

Carpet bagging much?

lookin at her Legacy Im really sure her AG is skeered of her :p

Actually Christine Gregoire is quite popular in WA state. She is extremely bright, but has a short fuse with stupidity. I speak from knowing the woman since before she was AG. Rob McKenna (who I have voted for in past elections...he has been a great AG till now) is trying to make political hay. I think he's probably going to run for Gov when Christine leaves after this term. It would not surprise me to see her appointed to a post in a second term Obama admin.

Oh. Linn, leave him alone. He is just one of the knee jerk conservatives. He spews the vitriol he hears on Rush/Beck et al. It's good for a laugh and affords us a window into their thinking without actually having to read or listen to that stuff. I still think we need a vomiting smilie.;)

Well, that's the point really, Psychicwolf. A poster as this does not represent conservative views - and I would venture to say causes much aggravation to our conservative members as well. This is not a forum for extremism - from right or left.

While I agree that the views of DarkhawkX do not represent those of most Conservatives, they do represent what is being said by Rush, Glenn, etc., as PW indicated. If I can listen to MSNBC, you can listen to Fox. I don't see why that isn't fair.

I tried to keep up with what happened this weekend, and again, I am saddened. There is a difference between a troll and a perhaps overly-enthusiastic "dissident" who generates converation. You wanna go back to posting threads that get one reply a week about what George said three months ago, then do it. Where is the emoticon for "yawn".
Did you ever stop to think, and then forget to start again?
