Time to get your March Madness on, FFolks, 'cause as I see it there's more than good reason for a posting drive to heat things up around here as we head into April and the FF's 15th Anniversary!!

There's four teams and two divisions in the tourney...

DIVISION !: Pirates who posted since January with a handle registered in the forum's 1st 7 years versus all other pirates who posted in that time -

'The One Eyed Cannonballers' - Cherry Kelly, BenSlain, Riddick, starrmtn001, fos, Raggedyann, Squidink

'The Peg Legged Plunderers' - Bobbi Snow, kbot, Doka, Dude111, Fan, steel15, morgusjc

DIVISION ?: Expansion Team Exhibition - "The Salty Ship Rats" versus "The Smokey Sea Devils"
Insofar we see activity by returning members who haven't posted since January or before AND/OR first time posters/new pirates, as such arises FFolks will be alternatively assigned to these teams.

Note that Special Scoring Rules Apply. While each individual post will count as one (1) point, FIVE (5) bonus points will be awarded for each NEW THREAD started: That said, NO DUPS OR SPAMMING - Any infractions will be assessed a ten (10) point penalty and all violators' contributions will be voided.

The tourney begins Wednesday March 4th and will run through Tuesday March 31st. Yours Truly will strive to provide quarterly scoring updates throughout, and the final tallies and results in early April -

The time for fun is NOW FFolks. Come for the Madness, Stay For The 15th Anniversary Celebration!

An echo there may be but it's still early in the tourney, lotsa time left for FFolks to lose their sanity: As it is, RA's let on she's "into it" and we have our first "free agent" signed on in DeathValleyScotty!

Insofar Madness is infectious we should see more of it as the month Marches on.

Now as to, per my initial post, the contest: As a returning pirate? You're on a Division ? team (The Ship Rats) with DeathValleyScotty competing with a team (The Sea Devils) currently boasting but one member, namely fabzilla. The name of the game is to pile up points by posting.

Tourney's end the thrill of victory goes to the winners. Losers get the agony of defeat booby prizes.
