I don't have an answer to your question, HB, but I just want to say that I really don't consider the NYT or WaPo to be left-wing. Mainstream, yes, but left-wing? No. A left wing publication, to me, would be something more like Mother Jones, for instance.

I guess I didn't describe precisely what I meant. It's that the respected icons of the left are now being critical of this administration. Like Moore and Krugman. I would argue that the NYT is extremely left-wing, but even granting what you're saying, they certainly at least feature respected leftists like Krugman.

I love this forum. I enjoy reading all the posts regardless of political content or not. I came here a long, long time ago but mostly remained in the background. I am now semi-retired and have more time available to be engaged in active posting. I am very grateful to Linnea for carrying on and keeping this forum alive.

meg, you have been posting up some great threads as have a couple others here. My time is limited these days so I don't have much time to comment. I took the morning off today so had a little more time than usual. I hope you keep posting up your topics because I will be focusing my free time there and other areas of the ship outside of P&G.
