Looking for some good vibes

It seems bad luck is daunting me.

As some of you are aware of I started wearing an Aircast for stress fractures in my foot back in early May.

I had a slip last Tuesday and broke my elbow. I have been living on Ibuprofen and ice packs for a week now. My arm is in a sling and the elbow is the color of liver green.

I have an appointment at the hospital tomorrow at 9:30. Its a 50/50 that I may have to have a screw put in.

Please pray that its not necessary.

Needless to say my summer is on hold until at least mid-July. I miss my bike.

BELIEVE you are healing, that the bones are mending, the skin normalizing. Say it out loud.

Take the time you'd normally use to ride your bike to read/study -- there is a reason for everything (I am preaching to myself, here!) and maybe this is the Universe's way of saying you just need some Megman time.

Thanks for the support folks. It has truly helped.

The good news is a screw or any other hardware isn't necessary at this point as it seems to be healing better than expected.

Now it's just a long haul with physiotherapy. Waiting on an opening an hopefully its soon. The doc said the sooner I can get my mobility back the better in the long run.
