Thank you all so much for your birthday wishes - sat at the Chanel make up bar today and found out the leap is necessary from moisturizer to "serum" - apparently that happens when one goes from 65 to 66.
I surprised myself as that is not something I would normally do, spend that type of time chatting up make up but sometimes girls will be girls - probably my Lucy moment.
Another Lucy moment- about 15 years ago an old Steelcase Tanker desk was sitting on the street and I hired two guys to pick it up and "sneak" it in to my basement (hope I am not repeating myself). Anyway finally about 8 months ago I sent it out to be refurbished. It was a womans desk as it was light pink with a gun metal gray top. It was finished a few weeks ago and I thought how neat it would be to have it in the bedroom in Palm Springs so that is where it was delivered. I can't tell you how happy a little thing like that makes me - honestly it's so big and industrial. It has three drawers, ones of those pull out trays and on the right side is the typewriter cubby. I am going to try to get pictures posted because I swear the inside of the cubby is like a hydraulic lift - for the typewriter.
Again thank you all for acknowleding my birthday - xo

Doka,
If you could have seen me and my girlfriend in Saks for four hours - we have been friends since the 7th grade so we have all of that wonderful history of "remember this and so and so" and all of that. Very comforting when one moves on from 65 to 66 and has to start incorporating serum in to their regimen.
I will send pics to my friend Squid and if I ask nicely he may post them for me.
