This is Buffalo Bayou, upstream at Dairy Ashford Road. That thin white line in the middle of the shot is a handrail on the jog/bike trail.

And this was Buffalo Bayou today, along Franklin Street near the downtown Post Office. This was taken about noon today, and you can say the jog/bike trail is DEFINITELY under water!

It rained like hell today in Houston. This was flooding reminiscent of the early stages of TS Allison in 2OO1. For example, here's a photo taken of Buffalo Bayou last December, and it was 2 or 3 feet high on that day.
