But Leno is number one in the ratings. If they gave the job to Letterman and Leno went to CBS Then NBC would not have the number one show. Apparently they don't care anymore as they are ousting Leno anyway. Even with his number one rating. Maybe they saw your post. Leno is someone I never got into....

Here's my true opinion on the program. Art Bell is the Johnny Carson of late night, talk radio. Johnny Carson, for those who may have never heard of him, was the greatest late night, talk host on tv. He hosted the Tonight show for 30 years. He was & still is, the King of talk TV. Jay Leno came aroun...

Agreed, Fan.
In addition to that, for every one of us who, at one time or another, bemoaned George Noory's version of Coast to Coast AM...we now have Art Bell back.
It is time to place forth an action plan to ensure we support the man that we didn't want to leave in the first place.

Wow! I haven't used usenet since about 1997. Anyone have info on what to use for it nowadays? I searched briefly, but figured y'all would be "in the know", so why not get the scoop from a fellow pirate! TIA! :D Not that I condone such acts. But I have used Giganews and Grabit for windows, along wit...

Huh? Where do we find your show Bob? And isn't that the name of Arts new show? That was a post from Art. I said that underneath! Whhaaaattt!:D I just now changed it so it would be clearer. HAHA Plus if I had a show it would be called (according to some): Pure Loco. Whhaaaattt! :crazyjump But seriou...

Certainly not what I understood when it happened... Art was under contract to say whatever Premiere wanted him to say when it concerned his replacement. Who would give Noory a chance without Art giving him a thumbs up? Mike Sigel was a better host than Noory. And Mike did an all night cat show. Rea...

Latest post from Art.
Art Bell: Dark Matter will NOT be a Political show, I will leave that to everybody else. Dark Matter will be EVERYTHING else. Politics is simply no longer relevant to anything important in my life. As for competition, it makes everybody better. This is going to be fun!

I have nothing but Respect for the Macho Man. I grew up watching him in the 80's & 90's. Though my favorite era of wrestling would have to be the "Attitude Era". Back when the real ECW was going strong. Loved watching ECW on my C-Band. I remember the first time I ever saw ECW. It was 1996 I believe ...

Gold Rush: South America

Does anyone else in here enjoy watching the Gold Rush series?
Following the Hoffman crew is like watching the three stooges. But I love it!

If anyone is following the show, what were your thoughts about last night's show?

My thoughts were this:

"Todd is going to get himself & the crew killed!"

Yes.
But a much wiser, mellower and mature version.

But I believe HB3 was replying to my post about remembering how some people would call in and weren't even sure what number they called. HAHA

Remember when people would call in and didn't know #1 they were on the air & #2 they were speaking with Art.

He always had fun with those.
Like a time he pretended to be working for a pizza place.
