The shoe dropped for me when I heard Hoagland on the Alex Jones Show the other day.

Hoagland is an interesting guest, but would be the king of the cut-off if he was a host.

I don't mind either way, but the announcement had no segue, it was just out of the blue.

I was listening to the recent show with Linda Moulton Howe and at one point, Noory burst forth with info about a new affiliate. It was a total non-sequitir, and Linda offered a surprised-sounding, "Oh, that's great!" Then the program continued as normal.

Oklahoma's not bad if you're out in the flat, quiet western part, but in the wannbe metro areas, it's SUV envy and quasi-culture from the cowboy museum.

The real problem, Dr. Jones, is that Amerika became a post-literary, even post-intellectual, society more than a quarter of a century ago. I finally watched a couple of episodes of "UFO Hunters" on the History Channel today and boy, did I hate it. The repeated cuts to the "team" explaining what was JUST SAID moments before made the whole show come off like a parody of investigative shows instead of anything serious....

I'd love to see Art retain the rights to all his broadcasts and then make them available for a subscription fee or pay-per-week or somesuch.

I'd agree, but only because George's lack of in-depth questioning and challenging of guests has likely led to people feeling as if the subject material isn't as "arcane" as it was with Art. Superficiality is popular, and so the mediocrity sown within the general population is being reflect...

I love Alex Jones, but man the reacharound-fest during the first hour was hard to take. Never mind the "lulz" by Alex calling George a "god" in Austin, TX.
