Re: Anyone still on here?

Not really. Forums are dying left and right. All forums are on their last digital breath.
All forums that remained dedicated to Art Bell essentially dried up when he stopped hosting Midnight in the Desert.

Re: John Hogue's presidential election 2020 prediction

Any intelligent person would understand that Trump is a liar, and honestly, he should be rotting in federal prison or lined up in front of a firing squad. That will happen sooner or later. Along with all of those idiots who were treasonous on January 6th. On Hogue.... I've spoken to him many times. ...

Re: Hidden Features In Your Keyboard You Didn't Know About

Art was a good teacher, he tought most of us how to jiggle our minds and open them up to all the Possibilities of the Cosmos. And like most teachers,, and schools , that time passes, the student graduates, and goes on to continue seeking in their own way, with their own thoughts. If you are still t...

Re: Hidden Features In Your Keyboard You Didn't Know About

I do believe there is a strong potential for an Art Bell type to once again revolutionize the industry. But it won't be on terrestrial radio. It has to be on new age media, and as Art once said, it cannot be done by producing one prerecorded show a week. All we have now are poor carbon copies. What ...

Probably the only one still in existence! I hope it remains around for a long time.
The FF has been an important part of the whole AB legacy.

Re: Hidden Features In Your Keyboard You Didn't Know About

Thanks again Riddick! That's the first professional training I've ever had on the "keyboard". Computers 101 in high school came long after my graduation day! Now I have a reference guide to rely on for hidden features and shortcuts. :D MK II P.S. I we don't post regularly @ FF it ma...

All sites are dying off Riddick!!!! Spybook is taking over :( (facebook) True to a degree. There are two forums that have more active members than all the others (Art Bell Forums) combined. Now that may be due to being linked from Art Bell's website but it goes to show that forums can still be usef...

Art already had a producer lined up.
Keith was responsible for all network related business and for one person (with Art's demands) that is too much.

There's only one Art Bell... but there are a lot of great podcasters out on this internet thingamajig.

He'll be back.
I spoke with Keith and he's had a lot on his plate with getting everything up and running in time for Art's return. It just got to be too much for one person to handle.

No he doesn't.
In the past I know Art has used a broadcast headset.

I'm not even sure what he must be purchasing to spend 20k.

I may have to limit what I say considering that I am on the Dark Matter Radio Network.

The Blue Yeti is a decent condenser mic.
I know a lot of podcasters who use this one.

yup but even that is overkill if you want to do it on the cheap or with more automation. Your show does sound great though. That is true. When I started podcasting it was originally with a Blue Snowball and I found that to be too cheap. All of 2014 I used the Rode Podcaster and it was a decent mic ...

To do that all he needs is a laptop and mic. That is all anyone needs now. All hardware functions are done in software. You have line-in, line-out and internet. Most podcasters (ie broadcasters) use a nice quality mic if they can afford one, Heil PR40 is a very popular one. Radio stations are all r...

The Halloween show wasn't all that bad for being our first annual event.

We had several callers including Ian Punnett.
