Re: The Unbearable Imperiousness Of Pride Month

I have a good life and it was even better before you idiots invaded the FF. I love coming here and saying what I think. I ain't never gonna leave, too much fun! :coolhat: I remember the FF when Linnea owned it. At that time Riddick, you never spouted your right wing, bigoted crap as you knew she wo...

Re: Letter of Thanks To Fan

Why would you want to keep this place going Fan? The FF is nothing like it used to be in any way shape or form and never will be again. If you think you are doing any kind of honor to the previous administrator and past posters by keeping it going, you are sadly mistaken. That would be pathetic! Th...

Michael was one of several guests who were kind enough to drop by the Dark Matter XM forum while Art was still on air.

Art originally told me that he could return as early as Monday.
Now he is saying that he is ready to return tonight but that is dependent on SiriusXM.

Trying to do Damage Control talking to a pile of angry trolls is like trying to take a crap on your food. You can do it, but what the hell.

Originally posted by voguy I can understand Art's concerns in this matter, and I'm not sure I would have bailed had XM not done the right thing by allowing free-pass till they worked out the technical glitches. But, that's XM. Taking away the ability for an audience to listen is much like George ha...

I emailed Art and he replied:

His reply can be found @ http://darkmatterxm.com/threads/art-bell-comments.217/

I feel this will become a copy and paste deal used by Art for damage control.
I was right. He is now using this email for damage control.

This is what I called for him to do to begin with, but I never thought he would do it. Honestly, I still don't. I personally feel that Art has killed his career and pissed off his once loyal fanbase. I have a feeling he wanted out anyways and used that as an excuse. He knew that could not happen. If it is true, the lesson is if you don't own your stuff you can't do with it as you please. However, Art knows how copyright and licensing work. I have some knowledge of what he is thinking but I am s...

Art Bell had the audacity to demand SirusXM allow Art to stream the live show for free on his website.
They didn't cave in (as everyone but Art expected) and Art decided he would take his ball and go home like a quitter.
